Gamers and developers constantly clamor for more power with each console generation. Let's face it, the end goal we want is for these machines to give us something straight out of Star Trek -- a holo-deck! But could it be that we're looking at the wrong devices to realize these dreams? Maybe a certain motion-sensing peripheral is the key?

How cool was that? It's amazing what people are managing to do with a machine that was initially just meant to be a gimmicky controller for the Xbox 360. I can't wait for the day when I'm finally able to chill out in my very own reality-augmented room!
